Simon Wren-Lewis Bertie Black Professor of Business Economics at the University of Exeter. He was Chair in Macroeconomic Modelling at the University of Strathclyde (1990-95), Senior Research Officer and Senior Research Fellow at the National Institute of Economic and Social Research (NIESR) (1986-90), member of the budget team for the HM Treasury (1974-81), and senior economic assistant with the National Income Forecasting Team (1976-80).
