Richard E. Feinberg

Richard Feinberg, Visiting Fellow (1996), is Professor of International Political Economy and Pacific Studies and Director of the APEC Study Center at the University of California, San Diego. He was Special Assistant to the President and Senior Director for Inter-American Affairs at the National Security Council, where he was a principal architect of the Summit of the Americas. He also served at the Departments of State and Treasury as well as with the House Banking Committee. He is the author of Summitry in the Americas: A Progress Report (1997).
