The Institute hosted a luncheon meeting on March 2, 2007, in honor of Colombian Minister of Trade Luis Guillermo Plata. The meeting focused on the free trade agreement negotiated between Colombia and the United States, its pending Congressional consideration, and how it relates to several other key trade policy issues now being considered on the Hill.
